Just across the border into Mexico are the Chetumal ruins balanced uopn the edge of the Yucatan Peninsula. Travel by boat into Mexico from Corozal to the ruin site and take a guided walking tour of the temples erected between the two river mouths in modern Santa Rita. Finally visit the Museo de Maya in town to view artifacts and the development of modern descendants of the Maya.

Follow a birding guide through trails and down streams that span over 22,000 acres housing the widest host of Belize's animals and birds possible to see the amazing variety of wildlife this area has to offer.
