In Cozumel, we will learn about dolphins and have the opportunity to swim with them in their own environment. We are very excited about this opportunity.

We'll travel 37 miles from Belize City to the Caves Branch River and its winding path through the Maya mountains. Upon arriving at Jaguar Paw, we'll hike for approximately 45-minutes down a jungle trail, and then don headlamps and float in an inner tube through the cave system.

When we dock in Costa Maya, we'll head out to visit some Mayan ruins. Kohunlich ruins include a sunken palace, acropolis, ball court, courtyards and the main attraction - the masks. We'll climb the pyramid-like temple for a view of the unique 10-foot high sculpted masks of the sun god 'Kinich Ahau.' Built before 500 A.D., these marvelous masks still retain some of their original colored stucco.

In Santo Tomas de Castilla, we plan to tour the San Felipe Fortress, which was built by the Spaniards to guard the entrance to the Lake Izabal from the Pirates of the Carribean.

What better way to enhance our fine dining experience than with our chosen bottle of exceptional wine.Cheers!

We'll spend a couple nights in the Big Easy after our cruise; since New Orleans is known for its food, we're excited to go out while there.

No trip to New Orleans would be complete without it.

We love sushi, and plan to enjoy at least one sushi dinner while at sea.
