With your wonderful gift we'll spend a night on the town, dance, laugh, and let loose wherever we desire.

We'll take a ride on a bicycle and enjoy a spectacular tour of Kauai on our honeymoon! We will be riding from the rim of the famed Waimea Canyon (el. 3600 feet) down 12 miles of smooth winding blacktop all the way to the shore of the blue Pacific!

As some of you already know, Jeff and I are big fans of the tv show, Lost. We'll discover remote filming locations for the hit show, such as Hurley's golf course and Locke's dad's mansion, and famous movie sets. Many locations are on restricted-access and private property and require an off-road vehicle to visit!

No visit to Hawaii would be complete without visiting at least one of the other beautiful islands. We would love to take quick flight from Kauai over to Oahu, the Big Island, Maui, Molokai or Lanai for a fantastic one-day adventure.

We'll gain a real appreciation for Poipu Beach’s crisp ocean breezes and coastal beauty on leisurely bike rides along the South Shore of Kauai.

We look forward to exploring the Hawaiian culture of yesterday and tomorrow at the Kaua'i Museum. The museum is the cultural sanctuary for the art and artifacts of Native Hawaiians and it nurtures the creative spirit of today’s artists.

Kayaking along Kauai's gorgeous south shore, we will venture into mysterious sea caves as we travel along sea cliffs adorned with interesting arches and blowholes! We'll kayak into a sea cave with pink walls and electric blue waters, explore a dry lava tube that extends deep into the earth and snorkel in the clear calm cove filled with incredible sea life. We might even see an octopus or an eel!

Secluded between rugged cliffs dropping down to a verdant valley floor, the National Tropical Botanical Garden is a treasure house of tropical flora. We will explore the unique biodiversity of native and exotic plants, see rare and endangered Hawaiian species, and learn about the efforts to save them.

We'll sail into the sunset on a 2 hour excursion toward Maha'ulepu and Kipu Kai. We'll experience the astounding beauty that can only accompany a sunset at sea. Live Hawaiian music will float over us like the trade winds as we enjoy pupus (appetizers), "sneaky tikis," beer, and wine. We may even encounter dolphins, humpback whales (in season), and other marine life.

We'll take a fun lesson and learn how to ride the waves. Surf's Up!

We can't wait to experience the food, music and hula of the traditional Hawaiian feast. Food may may be the heart of a luau, but music is the soul. Ancient Hawaiians preserved their history by passing down songs and chants called mele. At the luau, we will experience some of these traditions, as well as the songs and dances from other cultures that live in the tropical paradise. The lyrical sway of the Hawaiian hula, the colorful precision of the Tahitian drum dances and the fiery emotion of the Samoan fire knife dance all speak deeply of the people who have come to call Hawaii home. We look forward to sharing in the rhythm of aloha.

Hawaiian farmers markets are famous for their incredible, island grown fruits, vegetables and fresh fish. We are excited to explore markets all over the island, then return to our honeymoon suite with the ingredients for an unforgettable home-cooked meal.

With so many ice cream parlors in town, we'll try everything from hot fudge sundaes to soft serve ice cream and thick milkshakes. Who cares about the diet on our fantastic getaway!

It won't be like driving at home. Exploring on our honeymoon will be an adventure.
