We’ll have a whale of a ‘tail’ to tell and fond memories from our Carnival honeymoon in St. John! At the New Brunswick Museum we’ll suit up in our lab coats and gloves, examine the skeleton of a small Bay of Fundy whale and see behind the scenes of the Museum’s Hall of Great Whales exhibit.

We’ll board the “Duck,” a vehicle on land and a boat in the water! While driving through the charming streets of Portland, we’ll see its quaint restaurants, pubs, boutiques and galleries, admire the beautiful Victorian homes with Casco Bay and the Calendar Islands as one breathtaking backdrop. Making our way back to the waterfront to cruise through the cool blue waters, we’ll pass by Portland’s bustling waterfront and Fort Georges leaving us with unforgettable honeymoon memories!

On this fun and exciting Halifax shore excursion, we’ll learn what it takes to make great beer and earn our Bachelor of Beer Arts graduation certificate! Our kilted guide will help quench our thirst for knowledge after our double deck bus makes its first stop at The Atlantic Beer Institute, where we’ll enjoy the history of one of the world’s oldest beverages and see how it’s brewed. We’ll sample premium beers from Belgium, North American and England, brush up on our pouring and handling techniques, visit the Alexander Keith’s nova Scotia Brewery to complete our degree with a song or two and a nip of Mr. Keith’s finest Ale at the Stag’s Head Inn! Bottom’s up!

Setting sail aboard the elegant tall ship Silva, cruising through Boston’s cool blue waters and experiencing the historic seaport will be a memorable voyage! We’ll be entertained by our Captain and crew as they share interesting stories about Halifax Harbour and we’ll also have the opportunity for a hands-on sailing experience!

While gliding through the blue waters of the Saint John River, we’ll see blue herons, eagles, osprey, ducks, Canadian geese, deer and the lush natural flora and its surroundings! After our kayak tour on the river, we’ll feast on lobster and other seafood delicacies!

We’ll enjoy a lovely evening aboard our Carnival Fun Ship and sing along to the music while enjoying a drink or two at the piano bar! Cheers!

Together, we’ll spend time with the friendly locals, and see the charms of New Brunswick in St. John with its lush natural beauty! At Darlings Island we’ll see brightly colored, sweetly scented gardens filled with abundant flowers and plants, while learning about these beautiful gardens. In the town of Hampton, we’ll enjoy a salmon cooking demonstration followed by a delightful seafood chowder lunch. Then we’ll experience an unusual honeymoon activity. We’ll make our way to a dairy farm and help milk a cow by hand.

On this magical Boston excursion, we’ll make our way to the historic seaside city of Salem famous for its 17th-century witch hunts! We’ll visit the Salem Witch Museum and see a show with actors and actresses presenting the witch hangings in the dark period of the Witchcraft Trials, learning about the tragic events of the witch hysteria of 1692 and exploring the historic buildings along the waterfront, see replica clipper ships before we browse through the unique shops of Salem!

We’ll take a ride back into the historical times and experience its colorful culture! Our horse drawn trolley will take us through this charming town where we’ll see its unique architecture while learning about wooden ships built in Saint John and the story about a fire that destroyed the city. While admiring our surroundings, we’ll see the Old Country Courthouse, the Loyalist Burial Grounds, King’s Square and stop in downtown for some shopping!

We’ll saddle up and hop on our horses riding through Halifax’s winding woodland trails surrounded with natural lush beauty and friendly woodland creatures and we’ll join in outdoor activities, such as a mechanical roping horse and gladiator games!

This spectacular Portland tour will leave us with charming memories of Kennebunkport! While driving through Kennebunkport, we’ll admire Victorian style mansions built by wealthy sea captains, stroll along the picture perfect streets lined with quaint shops, galleries, unique boutiques, antique stores, restaurants and pubs. We’ll pass by Walker’s Point, the Bush estate, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Kennebunkport!

The charming village of Kennebunkport, Portland awaits us! We’ll take a ‘joyride’ through Kennebunkport passing by Victorian-style mansions, stroll along the picture perfect streets lined with quaint shops, galleries, unique boutiques, antique stores, restaurants and pubs. While cruising through the sparkling waters, we’ll admire breathtaking views of Walker’s Point and Maine’s rocky coastline; See the summer home of President George Bush and its beautiful surroundings!

Together, we’ll experience beautiful scenery, breathtaking views of the sparkling Atlantic waters and the charming lighthouses on this amazing Portland shore excursion! While driving through historic Portland, we’ll see sweeping views of Casco Bay, the new Arts District, and the Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse. We’ll travel to Cape Elizabeth’s rocky coast to Fort Williams where we’ll explore the Portland Head Lighthouse and explore the museum and learn about Maine’s oldest lighthouse!

Aboard our boat, we’ll cruise through Portland’s Casco Bay to the secluded House Island for a delicious ‘Downeast’ lobster bake! We’ll tour the island seeing 70 gun casements, subterranean vaults, archways, tunnels and circular stairways to Fort Scammel. After our tour, we’ll feast on a 11/2 pound lobster, clam chowder, steamed clams, corn on the cob, crisp fresh salads and decadent desserts!

On this fun filled tour of St. John, we’ll celebrate the passion for beer and culture while sampling some of the good stuff! We’ll visit the Old City Market after an orientation of Saint John, chat with friendly locals to discover its four hundred year old history. Then at O’Leary’s Pub, we’ll hear about the variety of beer products, sample three of the finest Moosehead beers in the Maritimes while enjoying the sounds of Maritime music! Cheers!

Mt. Washington & the Cog Railway tour will leave us with honeymoon memories that will last us a lifetime! We’ll take a locomotive trip through the White Mountain National Forest to the summit of Mt. Washington, the highest peak in New England, enjoying our journey on an authentic coal-fired steam train while admiring breathtaking views of Quebec and the sparkling Atlantic. After our train ride, we’ll browse around the Base Station Gift Shop for a few souvenirs from this amazing Portland excursion!

On this amazing Portland tour, we’ll take a scenic ‘joyride’ through the quaint charming streets of Old Port. See an array of architectural styles, red brick restaurants, pubs, boutiques and galleries. We’ll pass by beautiful Victorian homes; admire spectacular sweeping views of Casco Bay and the Calendar Islands. At the Victoria Mansion, we’ll tour around this Italian Villa-styled piece of art, marvel at its richly decorated interior, its colorful frescos, elaborate carved woodwork, an elegant chandelier, beautiful stained glass and a breathtaking flowing staircase!

We’ll board a high speed jet boat for an exciting cruise through the famous Reversing Falls! After swirling through whirlpools and towering waves we’ll learn about the water levels in the bay and why the harbor has such strong currents that reverse. This excursion will leave us with nothing but thrilling memories from our Carnival honeymoon in St. John!

Cruising through the sparkling waters of the enchanting Saint John River aboard the M.V. Voyageur II will be one breathtaking experience! While learning about the river’s history, we’ll pass by covered bridges, lighthouses, cable ferries and be amazed by the abundant wildlife!

Cruising through Boston Harbor’s cool blue waters, passing by Boston’s busy waterfront, the Long Wharf and the USS Constitution will be one memorable experience on our Carnival honeymoon! We’ll visit the upscale area of Back Bay and the Newbury Street boutiques with the trendy cafйs; pass the gold dome of the Massachusetts State House, Old North Church, the Old South Meeting House and Quincy Market while learning about Boston’s famous history!

We’ll kayak through Halifax’s Prospect Peninsula gliding across the shimmering waters! While discovering sheltered bays and inlets of Terence Bay, we’ll see seals, eagles and other marine animals before tantalizing our taste buds with a seaside feast of lobster rolls, mussels and other special delicacies!

Together, we’ll explore Halifax and its stunning beauty! While learning about the French Acadian history and witnessing the lush countryside, we’ll pass by orchards and see the Bay of Fundy. We’ll be welcomed into the Grand Pre Winery’s 30 acres of beautiful vineyards, enjoy a delightful local lunch while sampling the finest wines and sample some of the finest cheeses after our tour of this spectacular winery!
