The Arenal Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas. From our observation point, we will feel the ground tremble and see the night sky explode with ash and lava in a natural display of fireworks. We will visit the hot springs of Arenal, where we will relax in the soothing waters and be caressed by the cool night air while observing the stars and the incredible night sky above the volcano. This is absolutely an evening we will not want to miss.

This Canopy Tour will be an amazing, unforgettable experience! We'll fly through the tree tops of the Monteverde Could Forest on steel cables. We'll experience the various levels of the canopy as we glide and swing from tree to tree. Watch out Tarzan!

Our tour begins with a hiking trip through a tropical humid forest, passing bridges and spectacular scenery, to the Fortuna Waterfall with amazing swimming holes. After our honeymoon lunch at "Lava Rocks Restaurant" we will make our way to tour the Arenal Volcano. As we walk up the lava flows and watch the sunset we'll await the darkness to see and hear glowing rocks of lava tumbling down the side of the mountain, then it's time for a relaxing soak in the warmed mineral waters of Tabacon Resort and a romantic honeymoon dinner for two!

We'll have a great time horseback riding along the pristine Caribbean coastline surrounded by the lush tropical jungle, to the soft white sand of our private beach and take a refreshing swim in the crystal clear turquoise waters, swimming with our horses.

We will have fun challenging the river rapids in our full-day adventure, starting out with a joyride through remote back country of the Rio Savegre to our destination of the Savegre River where we will raft with excitement, enjoy the cool and pure swimming holes, witnessing dense jungle and the magnificent waterfalls where we will enjoy an afternoon snack with lunch shortly following! Choosing from six person rafts or two person inflatable kayaks, we will know whatever we choose will be more than fun, it will be exhilarating!

We can't wait to visit this spectacular amphibian and reptile zoo learning about Costa Rica's wildlife, observing snakes, poison snakes, reptiles, lizards, iguanas, amphibians and turtles. A honeymoon outing we will never forget!

We will appreciate refreshing ocean waters while learning the ancient skill and art of surfing. Our experienced Instructors are excellent teachers and are committed to perpetuating the heritage of surfing. Surfs up!

Costa Rica’s favorite national park is tiny Manuel Antonio, featuring three of the country’s most beautiful white sand beaches bordered by dense rainforest and trails abundant in wildlife. We will follow a professional naturalist guide through the park. We can't wait to soak in the wonders of this tropical rainforest and its natural history. The animal life is diverse, with some 109 known species of mammals and 184 species of birds. We may even spot two or three species of monkeys, sloth, white-nosed coatimundis, agoutis, colorful butterflies, iguanas and various birds.

I will indulge in a spa pedicure soaking my feet in a warm milk bath, followed by an exfoliating foot scrub, and a luxurious foot massage allowing me to drift away to a place of calm and soothing well-being just for our island honeymoon!
