During our visit in Carmel, we will be driving the 17 mile Drive which is noted as a great expedition along the coast of Pebble Beach.

With your wonderful gift we'll spend a night on the town, dance, laugh, and let loose wherever we desire.

The Alcatraz Night Tour is a unique program limited to just a few hundred visitors per evening. It includes special programs, tours, and activities not offered during the day. Roundtrip ferry transportation, a live boat narration, a guided tour from Dock to Cellhouse, the Cellhouse Audio Tour, a keepsake souvenir brochure, recreation use fee, and a variety of special programs and presentations offered only at night.

Tour One is recommended for first-time visitors as it provides a broad overview of the many facets of Hearst Castle and it is the least strenuous of the tours. Tour duration is 1 hour and 45 minutes which includes the bus ride to and from the castle. Tour One now includes the companion movie Hearst Castle Building the Dream shown on our giant 5 story screen in the Hearst Castle Theater

The Aquarium is perched on the edge of a world-famous coastline full of opportunities for discovery and exploration

This will be the last leg of our journey. located in Glen Ellen, it is about an hour north of San Francisco. We will taste wine, tour the winery and possibly purchase a bottle of wine to remind us of the trip at a later date.

This hotel is GORGEOUS! And the best rated hotel in the San Simeon area. We will be staying in a room with an ocean view, a fireplace and a private patio.

At this junction on our trip, we will be making the trip back to normal life. In Rohnert Park we will be checking out neighboring Petaluma and Santa Rosa as well as touring a local winery.

On our way home, we will make a stop in Carmel-by-the-Sea. We will partake in the local shopping and tour Cannery Row.

Our last night on our Honeymoon will be spent in Morro Bay. We plan on relaxing the last night and having no set plans.

This hotel is conveniently located near Pier 39 and many other San Francisco attractions.

Right up the street from Mendocino is Elk, CA. This hotel is situated on the top of a cliff overlooking the ocean. The room we are staying in is the Cliffhouse which comes with it's own jacuzzi, private outdoor patio and beautiful accommodations.

Before our Hearst Castle Tour and the visit to the Elephant Seal Rookery, we will absolutely need a filling well balanced breakfast. The Big Sur Cafe is just the place.

This joint comes highly recommended by everyone online. We will be dining here on our first morning in San Francisco

What could be better than knowing we'll have breakfast to enjoy between the sheets? We'll order eggs florentine, cinnamon rolls, freshly squeezed orange juice and hot coffee which all seem to taste better served to us in bed!

Mo's BBQ is where I stopped with my mom and Stepdad for dinner on our way up to visit Sonoma State University (my home for 1 year). It stuck out to me as a fun place with great food. I'm sure Chris will love it too!

What is a honeymoon without relaxed dining and some beers? We plan to have dinner on our second night in San Simeon at the Pacific Blue Bar and Grill which is sure to provide us with both.

For Chris - we will be dining at Rosamunde Sausage Grill. I'm sure it will be fantastic!

This is well known as a fantastic steak house in San Francisco. We'll let ya know! :)

In between Pier 39, The Japanese Tea Gardens, Lombard Street and the Golden Gate Bridge, we will be having lunch at Cafe Venue.

After touring the Hearst Castle and watching the Elephant Seals play at the Rookery, we will, undoubtedly, be hungry. We have decided to dine at the widely recommended Manta Ray Restaurant right down the street from the hotel.

While in Carmel-by-the-Sea, we will be dining at a local restaurant located on Cannery Row.

On our way up to San Francisco, we will be stopping for lunch at the Monterey Fish House. Hopefully we can get some delicious fresh fish to energize us for our Alcatraz Night Tour

Known for their fantastic clam chowder served in a bread bowl, Pier Market Restaurant is located squarely in the middle of Pier 39.

When we are done with our tours, we will have some down time to explore the city of San Simeon and do some light shopping...my favorite thing!

The very first stop on our trip is Solvang where we will be wandering around the town. What is wandering without a little cash in our pockets?

After we visit other San Francisco attractions, we will be spending an afternoon perusing Pier 39 and browsing the different shops.
