Hot air ballooning is a romantic and soft adventure experience which is considered by many to be the best way to see the gorgeous North Queensland sunrise. Balloons gently rise from the ground at daybreak as the silence of night is interrupted by the first birds of the morning. The view from a hot air balloon is undoubtedly spectacular, and the experience is one you will remember as enchanting and uplifting. What makes hot air ballooning so magical is the balloons float gently with the wind, and for this reason ballooning is conducted at sunrise when the wind is at its calmest.

We are so excited to go snorkeling on our honeymoon, floating through the cool blue water as we swim eye to eye with exotic marine life. Paradise found!

We'll choose from an array of prime aged steaks, chops, bone-In New York, filet mignon, double pork chops and racks of lamb. All choices are grilled the classic way juicy, tender, with the flavors developed fully. This is a sanctuary for us steak aficionados. Our mouths are watering just thinking about it.

With so many ice cream parlors in town, we'll try everything from hot fudge sundaes to soft serve ice cream and thick milkshakes. Who cares about the diet on our fantastic getaway!

We simply must take home an aboriginal "didgeridoo." This is the oldest wind instrument in the world. Trying to play all its unusual sounds will keep us and you entertained for a very long time when we get home!
