We met through work over 3 1/2 years ago. We were friends for a long time and finally one day I asked James out on a date. He was so nervous it was so funny. We quickly hit it off as we both realized just how much we had in common. Almost exactly a year later he proposed and I said yes. We both love all of our family and friends so much, and although many tried to persuade us to elope, we wanted to have all of you present at our special day. We look forward to seeing each of you.

Our wedding will be at The Villas Condos in Nags Head on the Roanoke Sound. The wedding date is May 19, 2007 at 6:30 pm. The attire for the ceremony/reception is beach casual. The reception will immediately follow the ceremony at the same location. We will have food, alcohol and lots of dancing please make plans to come and enjoy the fun! Directions to this location will be provided in a map with your invitation.

We have reserved blocks of rooms at a couple of hotels in the Kill Devil Hills area. We are preparing to send out Save the Date Cards and we will provide all of this information in those cards. The hotels that we have reserved rooms at are The Days Inn Oceanfront-Wright Brothers, Clarion Hotel, Ramada Inn, Travel Lodge, Colony IV and the Hilton Garden Inn. When reserving your room at these hotels please make sure that you give either Bright or McCormac as the name the rooms are reserved for, this will allow you to receive the special rate. When we send out invitations we will enclose a map of the area to better accomodate those of you who have never been to the Outer Banks.
