Josh Kirkland and Lindsey Cain
Location: St. Thomas Church, Philo, IL
We've known each other since we were little. Usually seeing each other at the Philo ball park playing ball. We went to Unity together. My junior prom, I asked Josh to go with me. He accepted. We liked each other from that day forward. On 6/7/02, Josh asked me to be his girlfriend. I said yes & we've been dating ever since.

On 10/28/06, Josh & I were planning a BIG Halloween party. Little did I know Josh had been planning for over a month to propose. He was dressed as cupid (hint hint - I never caught on) & I as a hot fudge sundae. Soon after the party was at its prime - it was pinata time. I was the lucky host that went first. After missing first, the second was a succes. I took off my blindfold & he was down on one knee & asked me to marry him. Shocked & surprised of course I said YES!!!
We've decided to have our wedding on June 7, 2008. This day has unique meaning to us. It is the date we first started dating, so we wanted it to be the first day we shared our lives together. Our ceremony will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Philo at 5:30pm. This will be a full service mass. We do have a large number of guests. Please get there in a timely manner that suites you.
The reception will be held at the Philo Thelma Malone Gymnasium. Guests may start arriving at 6:30pm. Dinner will be served immediately. The wedding party will arrive approximately 1 hour after the ceremony. Neimergs Steakhouse will be catering our wedding. Menu cards will be placed on each table for your viewing conveinence. R Entertainment will be the music for the night playing all our favorites and your requests. The reception is 3 blocks west of the church. There will be parking in front of the building and to the side. All guests must come through the front entrance. We are looking forward to seeing you there.
We are very excited for you to be sharing this special day with us. Family and friends mean the world to both Josh and I. We are anxious to spend a wonderful evening with each and every one of you and hope that your dancing shoes are on, tummies are full and you'll have memories of a lifetime. Please take in our greatest appreciation for you in our lives. Thank You from the both of us.
