We first met about 6 years ago in Boone, North Carolina. We worked together at a place called Dellories. We shared a special connection but just remained good friends during this time. When Dellorie's closed down, we did not see each other much, except for once in a while when we were out and about. We saw eachother a couple years later at place called Cafe Portafino's. We started talking, and then we started seeing each other more and more. It wasn't long after that we were falling in love. We decided to move to the beach together and then we found out about a life-changing event in our lives....we were going to have a baby! Mason is now over a year old and we can not describe how much joy he brought to our lives.
The wedding will be held at 2pm on the north end of Carolina Beach (close to the pier) on September 15th, 2007. An approximate address is 1712 Carolina Beach Avenue. We have reserved parking for all of our guests at the pier parking area. There is no need for shoes on the beach, unless you feel the need! It is usually still pretty warm here in Wilmington in September, so dress comfortably.
The reception is to take place at the Hampton Inn on 17th Street in Wilmington from 3-7pm. Tasty food and beverages will be served at this time. We have a DJ so be sure to bring your dancin' shoes!! We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn (where the reception is held) at a discount rate. We felt it would be convenient for everyone at this location. However, there are lots of hotels in this area. So, feel free to shop around. The closest airport is the Wilmington Airport (ILM). If anyone would like a lift from the airport, please let us know.
Other than the birth our beautiful baby boy, this is going to be one of the biggest moments for us as a family. We would like everyone to know how truly blessed we feel to have you in our lives. Although we do not get to see all of the ones we love as much as we'd like to, we still hold you all close to our hearts and we love you very much. Each of our wedding guests has touched our lives in a unique and special way. We have both grown up surrounded by love, and that is the reason that we know how to love.
