Chris and Susie met in June of 2006, in Frakes, KY while on their church mission trips. Chris was along with Damascus UMC and Susie was with Faith UMC. It just so happens that Chris' pastor at Damascus, Mike Grant, was Susie's associate pastor when she was in Middle School. So the connecting began.
There was much prodding and persuading directed at Chris - to at least TALK to Susie. Apparently Susie beat him to it and said Hi to him on Tuesday of mission trip. She noticed the Malone T-Shirt that he was wearing and struck up a conversation - completely a friendly conversation - not meant to "pick him up" or anything like that. :-)
Finally, Chris gave in and struck up a conversation with Susie Friday night. To hear the rest of the story, find us and ask!! We love to tell it!!

Our wedding will be at Faith UMC in North Canton. Music starts at 1:00pm. Faith is located at 300 9th St. NW, North Canton 44720. From 77 exit at 111 - Portage Street. Head East on Portage street, follow a curve in the road and turn left on Hillcrest (the 5th stoplight after you turn onto Portage). Hillcrest dead ends into 9th street and the church is on your left!
