Brian and I met in the summer of 2001 while playing ultimate frisbee in Cary. Even though we remained friends, we eventually drifted apart. Both of us grew in our own ways, living life, and turning into the people we are now. Then, one fateful morning in 2005, I called and woke Brian up at 3am. Unbeknownst to me, Brian had joined the Navy and was living in Hawaii. We chatted for a while and our friendship was immediately renewed. Over the next several months we managed to talk more often. Then, when Brian came home for Thanksgiving of 2006 we found time to see each other. Over the next few months, Brian and I talked constantly and even saw each other a few times. During one of my trips to Hawaii (February 16, 2007), Brian got on one knee and me to marry him. =) And now here we are!!
