Since the ocean is a special place for both of us we've decided to get married on the beach behind the Ocean Institute in Dana Point. Please park in the Ocean Institute parking lot.
To access the beach you follow the sidewalk along the perimeter of the harbor around the Ocean Institute. There are stairs down to the beach where the breakwater meets the cliffs.

The reception will follow the wedding at the beautiful Ocean Institute.
Directions to the OI:
From the south : Take the I-5 freeway to Dana Point. Exit the Pacific Coast Highway offramp & veer right. Turn left onto Dana Point Harbor Drive and follow it to Ocean Institute parking lot.
Traveling north from San Diego: Take the I-5 freeway, exit the Beach Cities offramp & veer left. Turn left onto Dana Point Harbor Drive and follow it to Ocean Institute parking lot.
Traveling south from Pacific Coast Highway (PCH - Hwy 1) to Dana Point. Turn right on Golden Lantern, then turn right onto Dana Point Harbor Drive and following it to Ocean Institute parking lot.
If you plan on staying in Dana Point we recommend the Dana Point Marina Inn, the Holiday Day Inn Express, Dana Point Harbor Inn, and the Laguna Cliffs Marriott .
