HOW WE MET - Jay and I both went to Savio Prep High School in East Boston. Jay was a senior when I was a freshmen, so being a lowly freshmen, I knew who he was but had really never talked to him. I recall him as the football captain, he recalls me as the geek with the big glasses - Go figure!
We reacquainted and started talking on Myspace believe it or not. After chatting on the phone for a few weeks Jay took me out for drinks to Kowloon and Border Cafe ...and the rest is history ...

WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED - April 19, 2007

@ Pincho's Bar and Grill in Aruba - A fantastic little restaurant on the end of a pier. We had sunset reservations...it was a fantastic sunset ....then he moved closer...said all the things every girl ever wants to hear and again, the rest is history!

Some of the details of the wedding have been finalized. The ceremony will be at the edge of the ocean at Sunset on the beach at the Westin. We will be surrounded by our closest friends and family and will have a reception immediately following the ceremony on the beach as well. Yes, OPEN bar!

There have been some great ideas thrown around about the rehersal dinner being on the Pirate Ship and Jason and I are really excited about that and hope that it works out!

So the major details are in place ...39 people have booked (airfare and hotel) and everyone is looking forward to a great vacation. 185 days and counting!
