Lisa & Joshua met their first year of college and remained “just friends” for 2 years before their romance flourished. They started their relationship as a long distance romance as Lisa resided in Gainesville to attend the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and Joshua in Orlando to attend the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!). Their relationship relied heavily on phone calls and E-mail, and weekend trips.
Once Lisa graduated she decided to move to Orlando to be with Joshua. After a year of finally residing in the same city they moved in together, and as of one year ago purchased their first home together. For the past 4.5 years they have been the best of friends and on June 3, 2007 Joshua asked Lisa to be by his side forever...She gladly accepted. The couple intends to move to Andros Island in the Bahamas, for Joshua’s work, where they will begin their new life together as husband and wife.

Lisa & Joshua haven chosen the quaint city of Savannah, Georgia to exchange their marriage vows. They were introduced to Savannah on a trip for Joshua's birthday in April and from the moment they drove across the city's brick streets they fell in love with it's history and charm. The couple would have loved to invite everyone they have ever known to witness their special day, but liked the idea of a destination wedding to give their wedding day an intimate simplicity among close friends and immediate family.
After their wedding the couple hopes to spend their honeymoon living "La Dolce Vita" in one of Lisa's favorite cities, Rome, Italy. It has been the couple's longtime goal to explore Europe together.
