The couple met watching a football game at ESPN Zone in Times Square on January 18th, 2004. Ivory was there with friends Clarisse and Natasha and Manuel was there with his best friend Rafi.

The couple will be married on August 18th at 3:30 PM. The ceremony and reception will both be held at the Copeland residence, surrounded by a bamboo orchard and a view of Mount Baker, in true Pacific Northwest beauty. The bride's sister, Lucy Flynn, will be the Maid of Honor. Jillian McRae, Maureen Leddy and Kirsten Saint Clair will be bridesmaids.

The reception will follow the ceremony at the Copeland residence. The buffet dinner will include local, organic Pacific Northwest cuisine. The wines are hand made by the father of the bride and the wedding host, Tom Copeland. The cake will be hand made by the bride's sister-in-law, Asa Flynn.

The couple plans to spend 6 nights in Negril, Jamaica at the Couples Swept Away resort. Manuel is most looking forward to going to the beach. Ivory is looking forward to listening to reggae on the beach and relaxing.
