We first met at Hanes Mall in Winston-Salem where we both worked in November 2004. After months of small talk, we finally went on our first date in April 2005. Our personalities and values immediately clicked and we ended up spending most of that summer together. When we were not working or taking summer classes, we were paddleboating, at the lake having lunch, going to the movies, and playing basketball. On August 22, 2005, I took Danielle to dinner at her favorite restaurant, Copeland's. As we sat there, I told her that I was going to order a drink at the bar. Halfway in stride, I turned around and walked back towards the table as if I forgot something. Thats when I got down on one knee to ask the big question. Once Danielle got over her initial shock, she immediately said yes.

The wedding is on September 1st, 2007 at St. John's CME Church in Winston-Salem, NC. The ceremony will begin at 2:00pm and the church is located at 350 Northwest Crawford Place.

The reception is by invitation only due to limited spacing.
