We met through a friend on December 13, 2005; we started dating shortly after Carla came back from a holiday cruise to Mexico. Everything has been wonderful ever since, we have shared many wonderful experiences together. Randy proposed to Carla on February 3rd 2007 when she came back from a business trip, prepared a beautiful candlelight dinner and proposed (she said yes). The next day on a whale watching cruise in the San Diego Bay; we experienced the breathtaking sight of a beautiful Pacific Gray Whale breaching, we then realized that this was a sign that we had made the right decision to spend the rest of our lives together.
We will be getting married on December 27, 2007 on the beautiful island of Kauai, Hawaii "Where True Love is but a glimpse of heaven” The ceremony will be held next to the ocean on the lawn at the Beach House restaurant. We will be having a traditional Hawaiian Hookupu ceremony. Our Hawaiian wedding experience will include all the traditional Hawaiian wedding traditions, and the beautiful Hawaiian sunset will bless our union.
We will be having a dinner with family and friends at the Beach House lower lanai following the ceremony. We will be having a celebration party in San Diego to share our joy with our family and friends that can’t make it to Hawaii. It will be held on Saturday February 2, 2008.
We will be leaving San Diego on December 23, 2007 and flying to the island of Kauai. On December 29th we will be leaving the island of Kauai and flying to Oahu to spend our first New Years Eve together as husband and wife on Waikiki beach. On January 4th we will be leaving Oahu and flying to the island of Maui. After spending a week on Maui we will be coming home to San Diego on January 11th to start our new life together with mariachis and tequila.
We thank you all our friends and family for being part of this special moment in our lives. For all our friends that could not make it to Hawaii we will be having a video made of our ceremony. We will be showing this video and all the pictures at the February 2, 2008 celebration in San Diego,
