How We Met:
We have actually known each other for years, but had recently ran into each other at a local coffee shop. I had really gone out on a limb and had given him my cell phone number and had told him to call me sometime and we'd "do" coffee to catch up...and he called me!


How We Got Engaged:
We had just went into town so he could "put money on his layaway" as he put it to me. After that we had gone for a coffee on the way back home. Later on that evening we were lying in bed watching a movie, "My Best Friend's Wedding" (should have been a hint lol), when I heard him sighing, humming and hawing. It seemed to me like something was troubling him, so I asked him if he was ok. He told me yes, but that he was just nervous and then he "popped the question!" I asked him if was serious, and when he reached in his pocket and brought out the ring, "I bawled like a baby!"

We want something simple, so we are getting married by Justice of the Peace with only our closest family members attending. Following, a pot luck dinner were everyone is asked to bring at least one item (food and/or drink) with everyone to BYOB!
The following day myself and my new husband will be whisked off to our dream honeymoon vaction for at least 2 weeks, Bon Voyage!!!
