John and Michelle met at Costco when they were both checking out hydration backpacks. Michelle was talking to herself as usual, when John answered. Conversation sparked from there and funny enough neither purchased a backpack that day. Their first date was instigated by John's friend Sonia who invited John and "a friend" to a Kings Hockey game. They started the night out at Yang Chow in China town and didn't show up until mid-way through the game. The following week they went on their first hike together and have been inseparable ever since....

John and Michelle will be married on Saturday, March 15th, 2008 in Ojai California. The marriage will take place at 3:30 in the afternoon at the Acacia Mansion. Michelle's mom is hosting the event.

Our reception will take place directly following the ceremony at the Acacia Mansion. Please be sure to bring a light sweater or shawl as it might get a bit chilly as the evening progresses.

We are so exited.. we have dreamed about visiting Italy and we are finally doing it!! We will be landing on Venice on Tuesday, March 18th and working our way through Florence, Postiano and finally Rome with all sorts of stops along the way.
