Tim and I met back in high school. I wasn't so interested but he was pretty persistant.( As you can tell) Tim asked me to the Jr. Prom ( it was our sophmore year) he and 2 other guys asked but since he was the first one my mom said I had to go with him. So I ofcourse was unhappy but did what my mother told me. ( Thanks MOM!) To my suprise this was the first date I would go on with my Future Husband! We have been in love ever since. Tim took me one night to my favorite park in Saint George it was really late and cold. My best friend was on her honeymoon and I was talkin to him about her wedding. He then brought up the subject of us eventually getting married but he said that he was too scared to ask my Dad and just couldn't think of how to do it. I told him that it was stupid my dad is not that scary! If my brother in laws could do it surely he would survive! While we sat on the bench talking Tim told me to look at the car behind me. I turned my head to look and felt him move away from me. At that moment I knew that when I turned around he would be down on one knee. I turned around to see that I was right. My body was shaking so bad and I could feel myself smiling from ear to ear. I knew at that right then that I was right he was proposing to me. I sat there watching his mouth move but didn't hear a sound. I shook my head and said are you serious? His face went from a huge smile to what you would imagine someone thinking Uh Oh would look like! I said seriously this is it? His face turned into confusion as he looked down at the box only to see that he had not mistaken himself the ring was really there and he had just proposed. He looked up and said " STEPH! WILL YOU MARRY ME!!!" This time I heard him and I said " OF COURSE!" I then jumped up and down so excited! I was finally engaged to marry the man of my Dreams!
Tim and I are getting married in the Saint George Temple early morning March 22nd. We are so excited to be sealed together for time and all eternity. We are greatful that our family will be there for us on this very special day.
Tim and I are so excited to be celebrating our wedding day with everyone! A reception will be held for all to celebrate at the Little Valley Church House. 2079 E 2450 S Saint George, Utah! It starts at 6 and will go until 9 the evening of the 22nd. We hope to see everyone there!
