Nicola and I first met on the evening of Saturday June 10th 2005 in her home town of Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
Fast forward 6 months and after many train journeys,huge phone bills and long commutes between Melton and Scarborough, we took the decision for Nicola to move down to live with me in what has become our home and we haven't looked back since. Awwwwww
Fast forward another 2 years and numerous memories, random weekends away, many a drunken night, and a nearly finished home I decided to ask for Nicola's hand in marriage on bended knee on Ocean Beach, San Diego, California in September 2007.
We now find ourselves planning what we hope will be a fantastic day for us all to enjoy.

Our Wedding ceremony is Sunday 24th August 2008 at 1:30pm at St Mary's Church, Ashby Folville, Leicestershire. If you are driving,please follow the directions which are in the invitations. If you have reserved a place on the coach.....sit back and enjoy the journey!
Please be aware that whilst we would like everyone to be comfatable during our day,please leave your jeans at home!
LADIES: Take this opportunity to dust off your hats and wear them with pride. When was the last time you wore one? Go on.....
Our Wedding Breakfast and Evening Reception is taking place at Whitwell Hotel & Conference Center, Whitwell, Rutland Water. Our Evening celebrations start from 7:30pm until the early hours of the morning.
Following the Ceremony we will be serving traditional Yorkshire inspired canapes along with a sit down dinner and lots of wine.
During the evening celebrations you will be entertained by a live six piece band and a light buffet.
Directions to the Reception are in your invitations.
If you have booked accommodation at either The Noel, Whitwell Hotel or Barnsdale Hall, please let us know so we can reserve you a seat on the 52 seater coach. This coach will collect you prior to the ceremony with plenty of time for a refreshment at The Carrington Arms, Ashby Folville (opposite the Church) whilst you await the Bride.
If you need taxi, train or plane information - please let us know.
Should you decide to stay for the whole Bank Holiday Weekend there are plenty of activites to choose from within a 2 minute walk from Whitwell Hotel - Rock Block, Bicycle hire, Sailing, Hiking all around Rutland Water.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank you for spending our special day with us. We are excited at the prospect of becoming husband and wife and we hope that you will enjoy the day as much as we will.
