We met in Introduction to Interpreting in our Sign Language Interpreting program. Chris likes to say I was fitting him for a tux the moment he walked in...

We did hit it off right away, although did not start dating until several months later. It's been a great year for us and we are excited to have found each other!

We haven't completely decided what to do yet. We are either going to get married in Riviera Maya, or have a small immediate-family ceremony and dinner right before we leave. We'll update as we know more!

It was a tough decision for us to make, as we want to celebrate with so many of you, but our finances ultimately won out and since we could only have a wedding or honeymoon, we chose the honeymoon. :-)

Although we will not have a reception, we do plan to have some kind of a celebration later in the summer. We hope to just have a casual, pot-luck where we can all get together and celebrate.
