As many of you know, Josh and I met in Colorado. We started out as neighbors and 2 years later, on Dec. 22, 2007, Josh surprised me, and proposed. We are planning our wedding for November 8, 2008. That day just so happens to be within a few days of our 3 year anniversary. We are both very excited to share our love and committment with our friends and family. We hope that you can join us in the celebration of the rest of our lives!!

The reception will be held at the Clarion Hotel in Manhattan, KS www.clarionhotel.com 785-539-5311. The reception will begin just after the wedding. Josh and I will be upholding the tradition of not seeing each other before the wedding, so please be patient as we complete our pictures before we join you at the reception.

The weather this time of year in Manhattan is very unpredictable. According to the weather channel the averages for November are 30 degrees for the low and 55 for the high. However for October is says the average low is 43 with 71 as the high. So, let's not try to guess what the weather will be like, but let's all hope it will be nice.

Since the reception will be at the Clarion Hotel, you might want to reserve a room there. If you mention the wedding you will get a small discount, but you will actually get a better one if you have a military ID, AAA, or AARP. We are planning on opening gifts the following morning at the hotel as well. In addition to an indoor pool and hot tub, there is a putt putt course that goes around the pool.

A couple other hotels that I would recommend are the Fairfield Inn or the Super 8.
