We met at work over 4 1/2 years ago and wow I was so very scared to start dating again after a really bad marriage I didn't think I had it in me but when I met Mike I just knew something in my heart felt right about him but he was younger than me and there was work of course, he didn't know if he wanted to date someone from work. You see with in 2 weeks we did in fact go out only by the hand of his friend Bryan (who set us up).
Lets see, well Bryan was supposed to come over and help paint one weekend with a few others and lets just say Mike and I were the only ones who showed up at Mike's new house and as you can see it was magic and it was meant to be for us! after we got done painting, Bryan called to see if we wanted to go out and go dancing and have a few drinks well we did and sometime in the middle of that night Mike took my hand in his and it has not left mine since that night for 4 1/2 years and I am so thankful I have found my soulmate after all of these years.
Yes we have had many bumps in the road but we have always seemed to manage our way around them or work straight through them. He is strong and loving yet knowing that when I need him to back off a bit he does and then there are those times when you want them to leave you alone (but you really don't) he seems to know those times as well.
I just hope and pray that I continue to bring him the joy and calmness to his life as he has brought to mine.
The wedding is coming so fast and so many things have happened in the last few weeks I just can't keep up anymore it seems.
I am now done to just 2 girls on my side and Mike has got 3 guys on his side.
Our bouquets(Bride, Matron of Honor) will be orchids (green w/ red tips) berries, hydrangea, Lime Zinnias, asst. green foliages
Brides Maid will have hand tied round bouquet w/ natural stems, green hydrangrea, green button mums, hypericum berries, asst. green foliages. (this is to match the guys boutonnieries.

I have no one at this time that I have asked to walk me down the isle so I probably won't.
My Uncle Hal will be marrying us and I know that he will make is so special for us.
We will be seating about 100 people. We have a special surprise for all of our guest as they are coming down from the ceromony they will be greeted my a Macaw (we are doing this instead of "traditional favors"), I am also going to make up chocolate squares that say thank you on them too.
We will also have a chocolate fountain with fresh fruits and the food will be from the Zoo's caterering company.
Our cake will have 3 layers:
1st. layer is going to be a strawberry casada.
2nd layer lemon
3rd layer choc/ van.
the cake will be decorated with fondont all white with vanilla flavoring have a total of 4 orchids on it and ivy all around it. I just can't wait to see it!!
Each table will have 3 different size vases 2 of which will have 2 different types of fern in them the 1st will have 2 stone fern pieces and the 2nd will have a foxtail fern and the smaller vase will have Ivy in it.
Our travel arrangements are being made by Armstrong Travel here in Ravenna, oh (THANKS BONNIE & SHELLY)!!
We will be spending 8 glorious days in Punta Cana at the Dreams Resort and Spa!
we are booking 2 excursions:
1. Feeding "Nurse Sharks & Stingrays"
2. Zip Line (riding through the jungle on steel cables)
My Mom has told me that she and my step-father will pay for us to have a romantic - dinner on the beach one night so that will be fantastic!! THANKS MOM & DAD LOVE YA!
