Travis and I met when I was a Freshman in high school 2000. After talking to him for a couple weeks and being told by Tami not to, I asked Travis to the Courtesy Dance. We "officially" (you had to be official back in the day) began dating March 14, 2000. We have pretty much been inseparable since. He finally popped the question on August 28, 2007.
Our wedding site is the Hoot Owl Creek Picnic Grounds in Healdsburg, California. Overlooking the infamous Alexander Valley, it sits atop a grassy knoll, is covered with huge, majestic oak trees and is surrounded by vineyards. We are hoping the fall colors will be ablaze. There is a small pond, bocce ball court, dancing/DJ area, BBQ/outdoor kitchen, and small play area.

While my dress is somewhat formal, my shoes will be conservative and sensible. The site is somewhat uneven. Travis and his attendants are wearing Tuxs'. It could be very warm or it could be a bit cool. So keep those things in mind when deciding what to wear.

We will have transportation to the site from the parking area for those who need it or don't wish to walk up the hill. Don't worry its an easy few hundred yards.

Thursday night (October 2nd) all family and friends arriving from out of town are invited to a dinner hosted by Denny and Katie Murphy at 4950 W. Soda Rock Lane. Time - TBA. Please RSVP ASAP to jami10_10@hotmail.com to let me know if you can make it and how many will be attending.

Friday night (October 3rd) all ADULT out of town guests and family are welcome at the rehearsal dinner hosted by Nancy Citro at 4160 Westside Road in Healdsburg. Cocktails will start at 5:00. Please RSVP to jami10_10@hotmail.com so we can let the caterers know how many. Babysitting will be available
While we have decided to include a few small children in our day, our ultimate evening will be having a wonderful time with the parents of those children. Given this and the fact that there is a lake, vineyards to wander off in, etc., we have rented a room at the near by Alexander Valley Church. You may take your children there at any time you choose. If you choose to keep your kids with you, they ARE invited guests so don't feel obligated. We just thought we'd give parents the option of taking the night off. Babysitting, pizza, juice and activites will be available at the church for $15 per child. Please let me know well ahead of time that you will use the service so that I can be sure we have an adequate number of sitters.

Children can be taken to the church, prior to the ceremony or after if you choose. Babysitting will be available from 3:30 to 10:30 pm
We have blocked 20 rooms at the Dry Creek Inn in Healdsburg.
