Bobby and I first met when he transferred to Pocatello as Red Lobster's GM. Bobby quickly became one of my favorite people to work with, and I occasionally babysat his children, Bobbi, and Sam. Bobby helped promote me throug the ranks of Red Lobster, and soon, I was off to Utah to manage the Orem, Utah restaurant. While in training, and when I first started managing, I would often call Bobby and the other Pocatello Managers to ask questions or just shoot the breeze. In October of 2005, Bobby, his mom, Blanca, his wife, Lillian, and children, Bobbi, Sam, and Brandi, were in a fatal car accident, taking the lives of Blanca and Lillian. After that, Bobby and I began a phone friendship where I would listen and give my input and cry and laugh with him. At this point, he decided to put his house in Poky on the market, and stay in Arizona. All the friends at Red Lobster decided to have a going away party for him, and he asked me if I could get the time off to come. That weekend, I noticed something was going on between Bobby and I that we could not explain, nor had we planned on. Bobby kissed me for the first time that night, and I wasn't sure what to think. I had plans to move back to Poky to be closer to family, and he was going to stay in Arizona with his family. Then a Higher Power intervened. Through our long distance talking, we developed a relationship that we had no clue where it would take us. After prayer, dreams, and insipration, Bobby decided not to sell his house in Poky and move home to continue managing the Red Lobster here. Then he realized that was not going to work. His children needed him, and the 50-60 hours he would be working at Red Lobster would take way too much time away from them. Again, after much prayer and talking it out, he decided to still move back to poky, but start over and go to school. Bobby and I officially became a couple when I moved back to poky in April 2006. We had a rough and rocky relationship at first, partially because Bobby was unsure, and hadn't fully grieved for his loss, but after taking a step back and giving him a little time and space, he realized that he was really head-over-heals in love with me! :) After over 2 years of dating and helping him raise Bobby, Sam, and Brandi, Bobby finally proposed!! People who know us well know that we laugh and joke alot in our relationship, but he was actually very romantic and sweet this time!
