We met for the first time at the Greenlake Blue Water Bistro on March 20th of 2007 after conversing over the internet for a time. It took a while before we knew if we liked each other. Once we spent more time together and got to know one another better we fell in love. As our love grew we traveled to Mexico for a week in the summer of 2007 for a friends wedding and had a wonderful time on our first vacation together. On December 15th, 2008; on the premise that my mother wanted a nice photo of the two of us for Christmas, I asked Carol to marry me. Carol's Sister Margi was taking photos of us on the Seattle waterfront when it began to rain, so we all headed inside to the Carousel. While riding on the Carousel horses I pulled a ring out of my pocket and Carols jaw dropped... She said YES. It was a great day. In January of 2008 we decided on a date for the wedding, Valentines Day 2009.

We are getting married on Valentines Day, February 14th, 2009 at Kiana Lodge in Pulsbo, WA.

We fell in love with this great location as soon as we saw it. Kiana Lodge had a open house in January of 2008, the scenery was great, the food was delicious. We knew this was the place where we were going to be married, as we are both outdoor lovers it fit us perfectly. The Atrium, where we will exchange vows and have dinner following the ceremony, has vaulted ceilings and a beautiful view of the lush vegitation that surrounds the property. Adjacent to the Atrium is the old Lodge, a beautiful Log House where we will adjourn following dinner for the cake cutting and some dancing, this building with its aged homey style and wonderful views of Agate Pass just makes you want to sit down and never leave. We love this location and we are sure you will as well, we look forward to sharing this special occasion with our dear friends and family.
