Ken and I met a couple of years ago. He helped me to move some furniture. I thought, he is aweful young and I bet he don't know what he's doing. To my surprise, he was older than he looked and he did an excellant job. Later, I learned we belonged to the same church. See, Ken is not from here, he moved here from Florida. So, to make a long story short, we became friends. I had a lot of respect for him and he for me. He'd asked me out, but I didn't take him seriously. So, one day I decided to take him up on his offer. I never would have thought I'd find someone who knew me better than myself. Someone who seemed to know my thoughts and could finish my sentences. It was amazing to see how well we got along and how we grew to become more than friends. Who would have thought it would lead to our upcoming nuptials. Love is truly worth waiting for.

Our upcoming Wedding will take place at New Holt Baptist Church in Harlem on January 31, 2009. This is where Trenia has lived most of her life and also the church where she was baptised. The Wedding will start promptly at 4pm. Guests will need to arrive at least by 3:30pm. Music for entertainment will began at 3:45pm. Once the Wedding starts, no guests will be allowed into the sanctuary, but you will have access to the balcony area. When the ceremony ends, the Wedding Party will remain in the sanctuary to take pictures. The guests will be asked to exit and be seated in the Fellowship Hall acrosss the street. We will meet and greet all of our guests immediately after taking pictures. We look forward to seeing each of you.

Our Reception will be held in the Fellowship Hall directly across the street from the church. We hope that each of you will stay and celebrate with us. For directions from the Augusta area, you can come from one of two ways. One, take Gordon Hwy from Augusta towards Harlem. Follow pass Fort Gordon gates 1, 2, and 3. Continue for about 10-15 miles till you enter Harlem city limits a sign will be on the right. Continue till you come to your first red light, whch is Harlem's one and only red light. Turn right at the light and go about maybe a half a block and turn on the first street to the right, which is directly in front of the Police station. If you go across the railroad tracks, you missed it. That street, which is Verdery St., takes you straight to the church, you can't miss it. Two, you can take I 20W to Harlem/Appling exit. Turn left from exit, travel till you come to a 4-way stop. Keep straight at the 4-way, you should pass Harlem High School on the right, continue several miles till you come to a railroad track. Cross over tracks and turn on the frst street to the left, which is Verdery St. If you go to the red light, you missed it. Vedery St. is directly in front of the Police station and it will lead you straight to the church. Hope to see you there.

Ken and I are so excited and can hardly wait. January will be here before you know it. Time is going by fast. We would really like to have all our family and friends with us on our special day. Being in love, surrounded by the ones we love, and who loves us, would make our day just perfect. So, your presence is a must, a gift is not necessary. If you so desire to give a gift, please no household items. Monetary gifts are welcomed or you may choose to purchase something from our Honeymoon Registry for our Honeymoon. Thank you and we love each of you. Ken & Trenia
