Justin and I met through my best friend, who is now one of my bridesmaids. Melissa dated Justin, and they didn't click, so she introduced him to me. We talked online for weeks and then moved to phone calls. After two months, we met. It didn't take me long to know that Justin was my intended soul mate - it just took him a bit longer! It wasn't long before he asked me to marry him, and we have been having a great time planning this wedding. He bought me a 1.5 k princess solitaire. I can't stop looking at it!!!!!! What makes him so great is that he loves my daughter, Bethany, as his own.
We are getting married beside the river at a lovely lady's house in West Jefferson, who is graciously allowing us to use her land. There will be a very large tent, enclosed on 2.5 sides for wind protection. We are using light tan and peach as our primary colors. The flowers are magnolias and hydrangeas. We will be having the reception on the same property under the tent with live music and $1 dances with the bride and groom, and $5 dances with Bethany, lovingly called "Stink Monkey." The music will be a mixture of jazz, country, Christian, and boogie - woogie. The address for the wedding site is 3789 Hartzog Ford Road, West Jefferson, NC. (It's actually across the street from the house number.) The actual ceremony will have a different twist. Justin and I will exchange rings, and then Justin will be placing a ring on Bethany's finger and let her know that he will always be there as her daddy and promise to love her and he loves me.
The reception will be under the tent with all kinds of food, cake, and punch. No alcohol will be served. We have live music with a bass player, a keyboard, and a banjo. If anyone else plays an instrument, feel free to come and join in on the fun! There will be dancing.
Justin and I would like to thank each and every one for taking the time to look at our registry. We hope that you will be able to come to the wedding and celebrate our love as we unite in God's country - the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. We are so excited and can't wait to become a family under one roof. Thanks to those who have helped us get to this new journey. We love you all!
