We started dating in fall 2004. Robert convinced me to take an 8am Philosophy class, claiming we’d support each other through the class, but in actuality he was just trying to get close to me *LOL*. One year later he proposed to me at the same restaurant and booth that we were in on our first date, Happy Joes Pizza. Needless to say, after 5 years and tons of rollercoaster rides, we’re still together, happy, and madly in love. We’ve made God the foundation of our relationship and that was the best decision we’ve ever made. We are each others best friends and confidants. We know each other inside and out. Recently we started a nonprofit organization, Wisdom Beyond Words Inc. (WBW Inc.). In February 2009 we started a skill development poetry program for children. Eventually we’ll be starting 4 additional programs and a sister company to compliment WBW. We are happy that you’ve chosen to join us in celebrating our union.

We chose Puerto Rico because of our love for the latin culture and the Spanish language. We will be getting married on the beach at the Courtyard by Marriott Isla Verde Beach Resort in San Juan, Puerto Rico at 5:30pm on May 16th. The hotel address is 7012 Bosa de Cangrejos Ave. San Juan, 00979 Puerto Rico.

While in Puerto Rico we will not be having a formal reception. Instead after the wedding we’ll be eating at a local restaurant and going to dance the night away there after.
