We met at work on a project and quickly became great friends. Although many people saw the connection and thought something was up, we remained just friends for years. While chatting to each other online one night, Michael asked me if I believe in destiny. It was at that point, when I realized where I was meant to be. We believe that being friends for so long first and having to work together as a team has really been a benefit to us. I knew all about his crazy behavior before we even starting dating :) In fact, I tease him about knowing some of his stories and he tells me that I know too much! We have bridged our great friendship and ability to work together into our romantic relationship. We have overcome some hurdles and are blessed to be where we are today.
We have matching destiny symbol tattoos that we feel represent us-destined to be together and that remind us of the night it all began.
We have talked about getting married for quite sometime and decided to get married on our two year Anniversary of March 16.

To many people's dismay, we have decided to elope. It's not that we don't love everyone and want them there, it's just that we want it to be nice and intimate, no drama, no stress. We have decided to get married at the Couples Sans Souci Resort in Jamaica. We will definately bring back pictures and will have a video for all of our family/friends to see. It will be beautiful. We're hoping to have the oceanfront gazebo for our ceremony. We must have the standard ceremony but will be incorporating our own words chosen passages.
