One of the best parts of planning a wedding is planning the honeymoon. Both Bryan and I knew we wouldn't be satisfied with our honeymoon unless we were able to travel outside of the United States. We both have a strong desire to travel and see the world, so we figured, what better time to start seeing the world than on our honeymoon!

We played around with ideas of Italy, Spain, and Greece, but decided upon a destination that is not often thought of as a honeymoon destination- Peru!

Now, we know that Peru is a bit off the beaten path, and certainly not as romantic as Italy is thought to be, but we are fortunate enough to be travelling to a country with a very rich history and many, many breathtaking sites. Peru offers hiking, rafting, horse back riding, paragliding, mountain biking, etc. We will be travelling to Lima and Cusco and will be able to see Machu Picchu and the Sun Gate along with many other ruins and beautiful sites!

We will be leaving bright and early on the morning of September 7, 2009 and will be returning all to soon on September 14, 2009.

Bryan and I are both so excited that our wedding day is fast approaching and that so many of our family and friends will be able to celebrate our special day with us. We both are looking forward to being husband and wife and starting our new lives with each and everyone of you wishing us well!
