Hello everyone. Let’s see, Josh and I technically met in Prison. Josh was working Housing Unit 3B, and I was his utility. I remember spending a lot of time on his Unit, the specific day that I remember, Josh asked me to go for a ride in his C-10. I was a little reluctant, because I did not want to date anyone from work. However, Josh was very persistent, and I remember thinking how nice, polite and cute he was. After talking on the phone and at work a few more times, I decided I would give it a try. On our first date, Josh took me to New Hope. We walked around a lot, got something to eat, and I remember sitting along the river talking for a long time. After our talk we decided to walk across the bridge to the New Jersey side. While we were walking across the bridge I remember Josh stopping in the middle and asking me, "Do you think this is the middle of the bridge?" I answered, "Yeah, I think so...why?" Josh then wrapped his arms around me and smiled and then he kissed me. I remember thinking how romantic it was that he wanted to find the middle of the bridge so we would remember our first kiss!! Our engagement…It was July 4th, 2008. We had some time to kill before a party we were invited to. Josh told me that he wanted to go to Columcille Megalith Park, right outside of Bangor. Josh and I walked around for awhile, we looked at all the fish in the little pond, and then we went inside of this round stone like building, Josh got down on one knee, grabbed my hand, told me how much he loved me and wanted to be with me for the rest of his life and asked me if I would marry him…right as a couple of guys walked into the building. I said YES of course, and cried a little, okay maybe I had to fix my makeup. We ended up having a wonderful day with close friends afterwards. Josh and I were meant for each other…we make each other whole. He is my voice of reason, my confidant, my friend, the one who pushes me just enough, my support and most of all, my love. Josh and I would like to thank everyone who has supported us and who has been there for us! We have some of the best friends and family a couple could ever wish for!!
