Our Story

We met each other in March 2007 at "8 Seconds Saloon". I noticed Nick sitting across the room and then I pointed him out to Bobbie Jo at the same time Dustin Plunkett was convincing Nick to come over to ask me to dance. Neither of us remember that darn song! The night ended but our relationship began. Thanks Bobbie Jo for making me go to that bar and thanks Dustin for giving Nick the courage to approach a table full of older women. Our relationship progressed just as one should...he introduced me to Thorntown (that IGA has carpet, and people stand in the middle of the road when a siren is heard) and it will be my home one day. I introduced him to Tell City (he knows TC as smokin' meat, drinking beer, and creek fries) and it has become his home away from home. Nick decided to pop the question on September 7, 2008 (after a long 3 hour trip to my home town to ask the parents with Dustin (thanks again Dustin...you should be our ring bearer). He asked me on a picnic table at Blue Springs Caverns in Bedford, IN. From there we began planning the wedding and we end up here!

Our Wedding

We will be getting married in Ocho Rios, Jamaica on December 7, 2009 at 10:30am. This will be the first port on our cruise. We will have travel provided for all of our guests. Shuttle buses will be taking us to the beach location where the ceremony and small reception will be for approximately 2 hours. Details will be provided at a later date.
