Everyone who knows both of us well, or just one of us well enough, knows the story. Jerry proposed to me May 4, 2000. He was on one knee at my apartment, pretending to pull something out of his baseball bag, as we were getting ready to leave for a softball game that night, and pulled out an engagement ring and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes. We never really set a date. Immediately after, I called my mom to let her know I was engaged. Of course she didn't believe me, as everyone, including myself, thought I would never marry. People who knew Jerry, also didn't believe he would marry. We both believe that if you love God with all of your heart, anything can happen. If you would like to see if it happens, stay tuned and show up on March 25, 2006 and we shall soon see
