Our Story

Once upon a time, a fluke involving a mis-placed cell phone charger and a wrong bus taken occured leading the paths of Eddie and Amanda to cross. Hofstra Law School's library was the origin of their unlikely authentic love story. After they met: She thought: His smile lit up the entire room...I also thought this guy has a thing for shock value and I should take alternate routes more often! He thought: I've gone to this school for the past 3 years....why have I never seen this girl before? And since I already graduated and she doesn't go to law school, this has to be my lucky day! It only took Eddie a little over a month to realize that he was truly in love with Amanda. No one had ever captured Eddie's imagination the way that she did. Although Eddie tried to fight it , he never stood a chance. Amanda has a unique ability to make anything fun and to turn the most ordinary everyday moments into the greatest memories. Eddie told Amanda he loved her for the first time on his Birthday, which is fitting because in that moment a new man was born. Amanda fell in love with Eddie pretty quickly though she'll admit that she, too, fought it at first. She realized that she was in trouble on the night he took her to Coney Island, a place she had never been as she was from Colorado, but had read about and always wanted to go. Taking the subway in and hearing the childhood Coney Island stories from Eddie, eating a delicious Coney Island hot dog, riding the Cyclone over and over and sitting on the boardwalk (thankfully it was dark,so she couldn't see the slightly un-glamourous beach) was the perfect setting for her to be charmed by Eddie. She loves his storytelling, his humor, kind heart and willingness to try anything random and crazy that she comes up with. She also thinks he's easy on the eyes, too. So when he proposed to her after taking her up in a hot air baloon, she was estatic to say "yes" to this sweet, amazing man.
