Troy and Christi met when Christi leased Troy's apartment to him in Seabrook, TX, but when he moved in on Mother's Day 2006 is when the connection was made. Troy was moving from out of state and got delayed that afternoon. When he called Christi at the leasing office, she offered to come back to the office that evening to move him in so he wouldn't have to stay overnight at a hotel. After papers were signed and keys were turned over, the two were laughing together as if they had known each other for some time. Troy made frequent stops to the office that week... then they ran into each other at the Seabrook Beach Club. It wasn't long before the two knew they would be spending their lives together.
We've been a part of each others' family's lives as much as possible and love learning more and more about each other as the years pass.
Troy took me to the San Luis Resort in Galveston for our first vacation together...we spent the days in the luxurious pool, relaxing, playing and enjoying our time away together. Two years later, to the weekend, Troy swept me back off my feet for a surprise get-away weekend...at the San Luis Resort. I was so excited to be back there with him that I didn't even realize he had planned an amazing proposal, in the pool, where we had spent so much time together! Champagne and frozen grapes were delivered pool side and our room was covered with rose petals and bouquets! Oh, what a day! We celebrated that night with close friends in the piano bar dancing our first dance engaged.
We have planned to have a private wedding at the San Luis Resort on May 1, 2010. Immediate family and close friends will be there to witness the joining of our hands in marriage. The San Luis resort has become such a special place to us, so we hope each of you enjoy it as much as we do.
Our wedding reception will immediately follow our wedding. We both hope to get to visit with each of you that evening, but most of all we want you to have fun! Our reception will be held in the same banquet room as the wedding ceremony, so make yourselves comfortable and ENJOY.
Troy and Christi are leaving Friday, May 7, 2010 for 7 days and 7 nights in Hawaii for their honeymoon! The newlyweds will be staying on the "Big Island" at Waikoloa Beach. Troy and Christi enjoy fun in the sun, exciting outings, new adventures and most especially the special moments shared experiencing these things as husband and wife.
We want to thank everyone for making this special time in our lives so memorable. Having family and friends caring so much about our new lives together is an amazing blessing. We are both enjoying the time shared with all of you during the planning of our big day and look forward to many more as husband and wife. Thank you all for everything!
