Our Story
Aaron and I met through a mutual friend on April 24, 2007. We were all hanging out and singing karaoke at Auggie's in Lansing, MI. I was pretty tired that night and he made it his mission to keep me awake. As we were leaving Auggie's, he asked me for my phone number and I gave it to him. He called me a week later and we went out with friends to dinner and a movie. Aaron and I were just friends up until July 17. We had a loooooong talk on our way back from Cedar Point where he convinced me to tell him how I really felt about him. The day after the Cedar Point trip, I sent him a text, telling him how I felt about him. That night we hung out at a park and had our first kiss and that’s when we decided to become a couple. Since July 17, 2007 Aaron and I have been wonderful together. We've had our ups and downs, but there was no doubt in my mind that he was the man that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. He admitted that he felt the same way and the proposal came when I least expected. On one Sunday of April 2009, Aaron got down on one knee in front of our WHOLE church and he proposed to me and of course I said YES!!!! I was soooooo happy and from then on the wedding plans began. As of this day, the both of us are so anxious for September 26, 2009 so that we can walk down the aisles and say our I Do’s and live happily ever after....lol... until we get back to reality!!!. I love Aaron and he loves me and our families are just as excited as we are that we are finally tying the knot. So the countdown continues.... Thank you for reading our story!!!
Our Wedding
The wedding will be September 26, 2009 @ C.O.G.I.O.M (Address: 4125 W. St Joseph, Lansing, MI 48917). It will be @ 2:00pm and our colors will be red, silver, and white. The theme is "Garden of Love". We would prefer that the guest wear dressy clothes, but it doesn't have to be your Sunday's Best. In our wedding party is Lauren Joy (Maid of Honor), Zanshera Belke and Tiffany Demyers (Brides Maids) and Destiny Davis (Jr. Bride's Maid). Kyle Burtley (Best Man), Sidney Sauseda and Danarious Radford (Groom's Men), and Derick Hartwell (Jr Groom's Man). Kyleigh Burtley (flower girl) and Johnathan Walker (Ring Barrer)
