Jenni Fedner & Justin Turner
Our Story
Jenni grew up in Cockeysville, MD, but quickly bolted for the sunny warm weather of South Carolina. She attended the University of South Carolina; receiving her BA in Journalism & Mass Communications in May 2006. She is currently working as a marketing representative for Preferred Communications. In Jenni's spare time she is actively participating on the NCPRSA InSpire Awards committee. She is also busy decorating their newly purchased home in Holly Springs, NC. Justin grew up in a small South Carolina town named Wallace. He attended the University of South Carolina after graduating from Marlboro County High School in 2002. Justin graduated from USC in 2007 with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. He is currently working for Schooldude.com as an applications engineer- a job that he loves. He also enjoys "playing radio DJ" in his free time. He is on-air at 106.1 The Rooster in Raleigh and has worked for some of the most popular radio stations in the Carolinas. Of course, Justin is also a season ticket holder for South Carolina football and enjoys all Gamecock sports. There are differing opinions as to when they first met. Jenni says it was a theater class during freshman year but Justin remembers meeting Jenni for the first time in statistics class during junior year. They actually became friends in fall 2005. Jenni was the intern and Justin was "kind of a big deal" for the Andy Thomas Show in Columbia. They worked on several projects together during that time: organizing fundraisers, planning events, calling radio stations, etc. They began dating shortly after traveling to Shreveport, LA for the Independence Bowl. All the cajun food must have done something because the rest is history!
