Blake and I have been dating for over 4 years and have finally decided to tie the knot. I feel lucky to be marrying my best friend and happiness overwhelms me! I usually do not indulge in overtly cheesy sentiment but this is different. I am happy to be continuing my life with Blake; someone I respect and find extremely interesting, who keeps me surprised and likes to talk as much as I do, and who likes imperfection, all that is unconventional, and makes me laugh.
Our wedding may surprise you or be exactly what you were expecting. Either way, I am so looking forward to the planning process. As of now we are thinking that the ceremony will be very private, just immediate family. As much as we’d like to include all of all family and friends in this moment, we feel that an intimate and super personal ceremony best reflects our relationship. The reception, on the other hand, will be all about celebrating and dancing!
The reception is right now, a mesh of a lot of things- great food, drinks, and dancing- but no real plans as of now. Stay tuned.
We REALLY want to go to New Orleans. Blake and I both Love the culture in New Orleans and it often finds its way into other things we like: film, books, tv, art, food, etc. I heard the French Quarter is amazing and of course I have to go to the Garden District. Thoughts?
Hello All! We are very excited to be planning our wedding. I hope that you will be able to be with us on the big day.
