It was during their 2003-2004 senior year at Mountain View High School that Melissa noticed Jeremy. He was the short guy Defensive Player on the Varsity Football team. Being the shy nerdy type, Melissa kept her crush on Jeremy just that, a high school crush.
They graduated High School without even saying a word to one another. Melissa continued her education at Pima Community College in studying of a Degree in Liberal Arts and a Degree in Therapeutic Massage. Jeremy continued to work around Tucson living his life until his path lead him a wonderful job opportunity with Time Warner Cable located in North Carolina.
It was November 11, 2007, when Jeremy was looking through their graduating classmates on Myspace. He came across his future bride to be's profile. He could not read any of her information but the picture of Melissa was enough to gather the courage to send her a message.
Granted- it was the cheesiest line known to mankind, but Melissa fell for it.
It was on that day that she logged on to her Myspace account and saw she had a new message. Her jaw dropped to the floor as she saw the new message was from her long time high school crush, Jeremy Parker. Melissa opened the message and read....
"Its funny, this says that we went to school together, which is odd because I usually remember a pretty face like yours." And Melissa just about died and went to heaven.
After a year of long distance relationship, with Jeremy flying to Tucson one time, and Melissa flying out there in-between school breaks twice, Jeremy made the decision it was time to re-root his entire life and come back to Tucson to be with Melissa and his family.
In the process of Jeremy moving, Jeremy and Melissa decided they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.
Wedding plans soon began to form. Before Jeremy was back in Arizona, they had the location of the wedding booked. Melissa and her mom took a trip to Oasis Wild Horse Ranch and immediately knew that this was THE place! So it was then booked- yes before Jeremy even was back in Arizona, they had the venue booked!
On November 22, 2008- Jeremy was officially back in Tucson and in Melissa's grasp!
It was not until February 16, 2009 when Melissa was off work and at Jeremy's Dad's house did it become official. In front of Jeremy’s Dad, Sister, and Brother- Jeremy dropped down to one knee and presented Melissa with her sparkling ring and the question! Jeremy was nervous and shaking- even though it was OBVOIOUS that Melissa would say YES!

Melissa and Jeremy's Wedding is being held at Oasis Wild Horse Ranch in Tucson Arizona on November 28th, 2009. The Ceremony is to begin at four o'clock in the evening. The Reception to include Cocktails, Dinner, and Dancing is to follow.

Melissa and Jeremy have decided that they want to spend their honeymoon in Hawaii. They have decided to take their trip in May 2010. This decision was made due to the fact that Melissa is still in school. She is in her Senior Year in receiving of her second degree. She will be receiving her degree in May. Jeremy and Melissa felt that waiting for Melissa to finish school needed to be a main priority. They did not want to miss any school time-in fear of falling behind.
Melissa's major dream in Hawaii is to visit the Pear Harbor Memorial, Whale Watch, snorkel and visit the Museums- just to name a few.
Jeremy's dream would in Hawaii would be to visit the Pearl Harbor Memorial, Volcano Tours, snorkel, Swim with the Dolphins- just to name a few.
