They met swing dancing when a strapping young man (Jason) asked a beautiful lady (Amy) to dance. It was love at first sight. They both have a passion for exploring new places and a love for the ocean. Jason proposed at the "Old-faithful" Geyser in Calistoga. As the geyser popped Jason popped the question. Of course, Amy immediately said yes! :-)

Our beautiful autumn wedding will be at the Monte Verde Inn in Foresthill, California. The wedding will be on September 30, 2006 at 5:00 P.M. with the reception to immediately follow.

We have booked a block of rooms for guests to reserve at the Holiday Inn in Auburn, California. To reserve call 1-800-456-4329 and refer to the Connelly-Welch Wedding Room Block. The discounted room rates are $114 per night for a double bed and $104 per night for a queen bed.

We recommend that you fly into the Sacramento International Airport and suggest you reserve a rental car for transportation. The hotel and wedding site are about an hour from the airport.
