It was not love at first sight when Michael and Elizabeth met. They were both in the lobby of Skyline Memorial Gardens in Portland, Oregon during a funeral. Michael kept on talking and Elizabeth was hoping a phone call would come in that could remove her from the conversation. They were both at work on an average day, but that meeting turned out to be an unseen destiny.

Michael and Elizabeth have chosen New Jersey to celebrate their wedding because it is Michael's home state and it was very important for them to include all of his extended family who wouldn't be able to make it out west. When they return, they will be married in the Catholic church at the gorgeous St. Mary's Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland, Oregon.

They plan to honeymoon in Kauai during Valentines Week of 2007 so they can spend the first anniversary of their engagement celebrating their long-awaited love and life together. Plus, Michael would have a very hard time trying to top the marriage proposal he gave Elizabeth this past Valentines Day!
