We met a long time ago! We sat across from each other in our seventh grade math class. Max moved away and returned for high school where we dated briefly. We grew apart and didn't see each other for years. Amber began college and Max continued on with his life as well. One day, Amber saw a mutual friend, Tuan, while grocery shopping with Mom. The conversation turned to Max and how he had always truly loved Amber. Max called a few days later, and we've been together ever since! Soon after the wedding we will have been together for six years!! Max joined the Navy a few years ago and we have been stationed in Japan for three years starting in September. We are both really excited to live in new surroundings and live in wedded bliss!

We are getting married at the General's Garden at the Lion's Gate Hotel, located at McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento/Citrus Heights. We chose this location based on it's natural beauty. It will be warm, so please dress accordingly! The attire is semi-formal, no jeans please! We hope to see you all there!

The reception will directly follow the ceremony at the same location. Hors d'ouvres will be served while formal pictures are taken. Food from both our cultures will be served, Japanese and Mexican. Soon afterwards, dinner will be served, so don't fill up!! The meal will include a hand-carved beef sirloin roast as well as chicken stuffed with pinenuts and spinach. The children will recieve a special meal of chicken strips and macaroni and cheese. Afterwards, we'll dance the night away!!

Although we don't have anything booked yet, we are planning on taking a cruise of the Mexican Riviera. A little fun in the sun and relaxation is in order! We'd like to swim with dolphins and maybe even take an ATV tour!

We truly appreciate all the support everyone has given us. We are in a time of transition: college graduation, getting married, then moving to Japan. We hope to see you all at our wedding to celebrate our love.
