We're goin' to the Kona Coast want to snorkel in the pristine waters of Kealakekua Bay. We'll board a high speed 24-foot Zodiac raft for a close-up view of sea caves, lava tubes and marine life. The Captain/Naturalist will explain local Hawaiian history en route to the Captain Cook monument and marine sanctuary. Needlessly to say, we want to snorkel everywhere!

We’ll soar above Kahului’s clouds and get a bird’s eye view of “The Valley Isle!” Viewing dense valleys, streaming waterfalls, lush rainforest and stunning scenery while learning about the history and culture of Hawaii and visiting the Haleakala Crater, Oheo Gulch, Hana Town and Hana Rainforest!

We will enjoy a fun and relaxing kayak adventure along Hilo’s beautiful shoreline. It will start on a black sand beach in the heart of Hilo, just a short distance from the pier. We'll paddle out past Coconut Island and continue along Hilo’s shoreline with its magnificent views of Wailoa Park Estuary and Wailuku River Waterfall, where the 18-mile river reaches the ocean. Enjoying a great day on the water with amazing views and look out for a glimpse of the Mauna Kea Summit. Learning that Hilo is situated in a portion of Hawaii’s rainforest, so be prepared for plenty of rainbows and a lush tropical coastline.

As we navigate through the quaint bay front town of Kailua-Kona along Ali’i Drive, we’ll learn about Hawaii’s legends and folklore. Then it’s off to the birthplace of Kamehameha III, the resort town of Keauhou. On the way we’ll have a chance to catch a glimpse of the fascinating Kealakekua Bay and the monument for Captain James Cook, who is credited for discovering the Hawaiian Islands in 1778. At the “City of Refuge,” Pu’uhonua O Honaunau, we’ll be able to witness a 20-acre finger of lava that is bordered by the sea in each side, which the city’s temple rests upon. We’ll also stop at the St. Benedict’s “painted” Church, which possesses vibrant and colorful and religious murals.

Kahului offers us quite an experience at the Maui Ocean Center! We’ll view fascinating indoor exhibits and outdoor pools teeming with Hawaii’s tropical marine life, see the colorful underwater paradise of the surrounding islands and learn about these creatures and their importance!

We cannot wait to experience a time-honored Hawaiian-style luau complete with Polynesian entertainment in Honolulu! What a romantic night this will be! It takes place on an elegant 12-acre beachfront estate, formerly the summer home of one of Hawaii’s most prominent families. After eating and watching the dancers in their exquisite costumes we’ll have the chance to visit pre-contact Polynesian villages for arts and crafts and games.

On this excursion, we’ll pay a visit the Pearl Harbor and Arizona Memorials. After we take a moment to honor our history, we’ll visit Honolulu's famous North Shore. Here we discover the many aspects the Oahu’s lovely villages, movie locations and renowned surfing beaches, such as Waimea Bay and the world famous Banzai Pipeline. Our mouths will be watering when we visit the coffee fields and the Dole Pineapple Pavilion.

After a narrated scenic drive to one of Kauai’s extraordinary beaches, we’ll have the opportunity to snorkel in a protected reef. Once in the water, we’ll be able to appreciate the astonishing beauty of the underwater world with numerous eye-catching colored fish, coral reef and perhaps even a sea turtle or two. This is a one of a kind way to experience Hawaii’s irreplaceable underwater environment!

What a splendid way to unwind and view the untouched interior of Kauai. We’ll take a brief ride to the Hanamaulu Ditch system, a part of the old Lihue Plantation, to start our tubing escapade. Once in the water, we’ll float down the tropical waterway consisting of open ditches, tunnels and flumes which were hand dug in 1912. After we are finished tubing, we’ll be able to enjoy a snack at a charming picnic area complete with a swimming hole.

So the picture does not show a bicycle nor a volcano, but hopefuly it got your attention anyway! This is the best way to “see, feel and hear” Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Begin with a scenic narrated drive to the Visitor’s Center at the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. We'll set off on an 8 mile ride taking you around the Kilauea Caldera. Enjoying scenic view stops and short hikes to the Kilauea Iki Overlook, the famous Thurston Lava Tube, Pu’u Pua’i Overlook and the Halema’uma’u Overlook, just to name a few. See old lava flows, native Hawaiian Ohia & fern tree (Hapu’u) forests, numerous craters of varying sizes and native colorful Hawaiian birds. Feel the wind and mist of the rainforest and the warm dry wind of a black lava desert. Hear the wind in the trees and the singing of the birds. Stop at the Jagger Museum, home to many seismographs, which monitor every twitch of the earth. It should be a blast!
