We met by aquaintance in the Georgia mountains on a weekend trip with the motive of going tubing and swimming with friends. The first evening after dinner, Lance grabbed my hand and took me aside to show me the clear night sky. It was then that he asked me if I was a Christian, and I was delighted that he did, because I am. The next day Lance helped me to get up underneath a waterfall and we shared our first kiss. From then on we have been inseperable.

We chose to get married in Kentucky, because, not only is it my home and where my family is, but we reasoned that it would be a good mid-point between his family in Maryland and his family and friends in Florida and Georgia. In the small town of Sonora, a picture of southern nostalgia, we will be married in a little Methodist church which is characterized by its beautiful stained glass windows.

The reception is to be held on the lawn of my Great Aunt Bets' home which is the axial epicenter of this railroad town. It is to be an outdoor evening with great southern food and dancing.

We are so appreciative of the love and support of our family and friends. You have helped shape us into the people we are today, and we wouldn't be the same without you. We hope that everyone can make it to the wedding. It is truly an event that we have been looking forward to, and expect to be the most memorable moment in our lives thus far. We are thankful for God's blessings. We ask for His continued guidance and love in our lives.
Thanks to our friends and families that are contributing to this honeymoon registry. The opportunity to start our lives together in such a meaningful way with this journey will be something that we will never forget, and we want you to know that this is much more than a vacation to us.
