Charlie and Amber met after graduating from the University of Virgina. Amber was working in the DC area from 1997 - 2003. Charlie began working in the DC area in 1999. Amber knew Eric Page from UVa since they both studied Systems Engineering. Both Eric Page and Amber worked for a small start-up companied called Ventera after graduating. Charlie and Eric were pledge brothers of the Sigma Phi Epsilon (SPE) Fraternity. Charlie and Amber met after college but were only casual acquaintances. In 2003, Amber moved to Los Angeles, CA and then moved back to the DC area in 2004. Then in January 2005, Eric Page gathered friends and Amber and Charlie then saw each other at Felix, a bar in Adams Morgan. Amber told Charlie she always had a crush on Charlie and the rest is history.

We will be getting married at our alma mater, the University of Virginia. The ceremony will take place at 5 pm in Garden IX on the lawn. The rainsite for the ceremony will be the Garden Room of Hotel E, a room on the Range area of the lawn. Both sites will be within walking distance of the Red Roof Inn hotel.

The reception will be held at Pavillion VII from 6pm - 10pm, the Colonnade Club. The Colonnade Club is a building on the lawn and just a stone's throw from the ceremony site.

Rooms at the Red Roof Inn on the Corner and the Marriot by the UVa Hospital are being blocked for the wedding.
