It all began when I was in training with RPD and she was searching one of the many criminals I brought in. The sweet scent of smelly feet, puke, and alcohol was in the air. We had our occasional chats, and her smile was infectious. She looked like a model, even in bucketeer gear.

He came with a smile on his face and looked great in uniform. One day he finally asked for my number, and he didn't even know my first name. He was sly and asked me how to spell my first name.

We went out to lunch at Olive Garden and talked for about two hours. It just felt natural, but then I had to go to work. Our next lunch date was scheduled for March 25, 2006, but Norm went out with a good friend the night before and the two went to eat before our lunch date. I took this as him blowing me off.

When she called me I told her I would be able to eat with her after I dropped him off. She said she was going shopping with her mom. I took this as she was blowing me off.

Later that night I was at Babinga with old friends. Then out of nowhere I get a text from this sexy lady...Stefanie.

Later that night I was at Babinga with my ladies and I see this familiar smiling face talking to some females. Still I decided to send Norm a text. We met up and danced the night away. We had such a good time laughing, dancing and kissing.

I introduced my son Marty and daughter Nevaeh to Stefanie and they fell in love with her. She was great with them and I felt safe with her and my family.

From there our love for each other grew and grew. A year later we went to Tahoe for our anniversary. Before the trip I picked up a little present from Jared Jewelry and asked her Father and Mother if I could ask Stefanie to Marry me. I was so excited to ask her.

After we went dancing that night. Norm was so excited to give me my present. He slowly went to one knee and pulled his hand from behind his back. My eyes teared up as he asked me to marry him.

Her face was so adorable and I knew the answer before she even said yes.

We bought our first house together in September of 2007. We are well on our way to becoming happily ever after, but we will make up the journey together as time passes and our love grows.

Our Families are the most important thing to us and we just want them to know we love all of you very much. We are happy to have the people that have shaped us into the adults we are at our wedding.

And to our friends, thank you too, we couldn't have a wedding without our great friends. You have been there throughout the good and bad times, and for this we are grateful.
