Honeymoon Wishes
Polly Jackson & Travis Clark
Location: Marble Falls, Texas
As most of you know already, Travis and I dated in high school. Once we went to our separate colleges, we drifted apart as most young couples do. He eventually married and had two children. I was in a very long term live-in relationship, but never married. After about twenty years or so, we both found ourselves on our own again. I had been looking for a friend of mine that I graduated high school with and had posted my profile on Classmates.com to try and find her. Travis found me there and emailed me right away. Email conversations turned into phone conversations. Phone conversations turned into visits. Then the time came for one of us to move. Since his two children live in Seattle, I chose to move there so that he wouldn't have be separated from them. This is where we both live now and will continue to live after the wedding.
We will be married on September 20th, 2008 at the Lakeside Pavilion in Marble Falls, Texas. We will have the ceremony performed by Brother Max Copeland with the reception to follow at this same location. While the family and friends in the wedding party will be formally dressed, we encourage all of our guests to dress nicely but comfortably.
We will be serving a Heavy Hors d'oeuvre buffet style dinner. There will be a variety of foods such as sliced pork loin with homemade rolls, tortellini with white wine sauce, boiled shrimp, spinach salad, pasta salad, vegetable trays, dips, crackers and fruit kabobs. Please sit wherever you like as we will not have assigned seating. We will also be serving beer, wine, lemonade, tea and water. And of course - our wedding cake, which will be Italian Cream Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting. The grooms cake will be German Chocolate. YUM! There will be a DJ and dancing during the reception, so wear your dancing shoes! We did our best to pick out a variety of songs that everyone will enjoy, both young and old, whether you like country, rock, soul or even the chicken dance!
If you are not sure how to get there or need additional information, please contact either the bride or the groom for directions. We have multiple hotel rooms reserved (under the name of Elaine Lewis - that's the grooms Mom) at both the Best Western and the La Quinta in Marble Falls for our out of town guests. If you have any trouble or have any questions, again please contact the bride or the groom for help.
We've changed our minds a couple of times regarding our honeymoon plans. It was a harder choice than you might think, but we've finally decided on a trip that we are very excited about. We plan to leave from Seattle (about a month after the wedding) and rent a car and travel down the Oregon and California coastline along the historic Hwy 101. It's should be a beautiful drive. We will detour off to the California Wine Country through Napa Valley and then will end at Yellowstone National Park. We will then fly back to Seattle. All in all, it should take us about 3 to 4 days to take it all in.

Thank you so much for sharing our special day with us! We are very excited and can't wait to see you all there.
